Winter 

in

California

(especially in the Central Coast)

is

pretty 

amazing!

sunshine

...

so

much

sunshine

warm

days

and

cool 

evenings

December 29th, 2013

..

much

of

the nation

 cold   rainy   snowy

but

Morro Bay

(about 12 miles from SLO)

was 

a

crystal clear 73 degrees

Our

BFF's

Tami and Mike

called

and

said

"Hey!  Let's go boating in Morro Bay"

yeah!

We packed

up

a

couple

bottles

of

bubbles

(to celebrate Tami's birthday)

and

some 

munchies

and

rented 

this

adorable

8

passenger

boat

and spent

the next

few

 hours

cruising 

around 

Morro Bay

both

John and Mike

got

to

captain

for 

awhile

                                  aye aye, Matey

we

sipped

and

 nibbled

and

laughed 

at 

the 

barking

sea lions

basking in the sun

and

the

otters

frolicking

in and out of the water

and were

awed

by

the

sparkling beauty

of

the

December 

afternoon
