perused
through
a few of my
FAVE
baking blogs
and
found
a
Pecan Sandie recipe
on
I
doubled
her recipe
and rolled the dough into balls
flattened
them
with a
glass
and
baked them
took a nibble
and decided
that
to be
really
R.E.A.L.L.Y
Aunt Martha worthy
they
would
need a
DARK CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE

Pecan Sandies
1 c. unsalted butter
1 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
350 degree oven - no need to grease cookie sheets
In an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Set aside. Mix flour and salt together and add to the butter mixture. Mix until just combined.
Fold in pecans.
Roll dough into 1 1/2" balls. Flatten balls with a moistened bottom of a glass.
Bake about 15 minutes.
Dark Chocolate Drizzle
1/2 bag Ghiradelli 72% chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. Crisco
Melt together in double boiler and drizzle over Sandies.
